How to Explain a Practical Project in an Interview
Use a simple structure: explain the business context, the objective, the workflow, your role, the checks you performed and the result or lesson. Be honest about whether you completed the work independently, in a training system or as part of a team. Do not present simulated exercises as paid client projects. For SAP, explain document flow and integration. For HR/payroll, explain input validation, exceptions, reconciliation and confidentiality. Practise concise answers and be ready to discuss what you would investigate when something goes wrong.
